Azazel has multiple forms depending on the amount of life force he has consumed. The most powerful is his demon form. This being his main state of being when unwounded or not starving. This is played out with the normal sized TEF deer in the complete BZD set. He is deadliest when in demon form and seems to lack the ability to feel pain or fear, at least until faced with deeper water than he can stand in.
